Bali is an island province of province of Indonesia. The island lies 3.2 km east of Java, and is 8 degrees south of the equator. The Bali Strait separates Bali and Java. With a population of approx. 4.22 million, bali is home to most of the Hindu minority in indonesia. A majority of the population (85%) follows Balinese Hinduism, 12% adhere to Islam, and rests of the population follows Christianity. Bali is a famous tourist destination in Southeast asia fabled for its arts, comprising traditional & modern dance, painting, sculpture, leather, music, and metalwork. The island is a part of the Coral Triangle, the area with largest biodiversity of marine species. More than 500 reef building coral species can be witnessed in this region.
Being a tropical destination, Bali’s experiences generally pleasant and mild weather at all times of the year. However, the wet and dry weather brings the major difference to the climatic conditions.
Bali experiences wet season from November to April. During this season, Bali is hotter and more humid, followed by heavy torrential rainfall at day time.
From May to October prevails the dry season. It is moderately humid during this season with occasional rain showers. The weather is great for sunbathing, swimming and outdoor activities.
